Pawan bigger brand than Mahesh?

Even though, Mahesh Babu leads in endorsing big brands and Pawan is shying away from it ( even though he did cola commercial before) but Pawan is ahead of Mahesh in more ways than one Coz, Pawan has evolved a 'brand of his own', claim industry sources. His onscreen personality that comprises of his fearless attitude, confidence and hard hitting dialogues have caught the imagination of youngsters which led to the framing of a new coinage' pawanism". His image has grown so big, that even stars like Ram Charan, Nitin and Nani are using it in their films 'to reach out to masses" since showing the his 'pic' is drawing applause in auditorium but Mahesh had no such die-hard followers.

Even Pawan's third marriage and his keeping distance from his brother Chiranjeevi, hasn't dented his inspiring persona and in fact, its growing by the day. May be, his transparency in real-life has bolstered his ratings among his fans and adding new ones every other day. Although, Mahesh's market is almost on par with Pawan, but Dhookudu star 'persona' hasn't grown enhanced in 'totality'. Quite a quirky situation for the Mahesh.

The actor is also planning to remake Bhaktha Kannappa with Prabhas playing the role essayed by him in the 1976 mythological film. However, quiz the septuagenarian on his nephew's marriage and he assures, "Prabhas will tie the knot in 2015. We will start the bride hunt as soon as Prabhas is done with the shooting of Baahubali."

The TV show host-turned-actress taught her co-star a thing or two about free style Indian dancing. "You know, I even danced for a Bollywood number with Scott Bakula in this film. That was so much fun," Lakshmi reveals.

The actress admits to have thoroughly enjoyed working with an all American crew. "It feels great to be working with an American crew after a long time. I love the enthusiasm that they have about making a film. It's not just a mere job for them. Ram Charan’s new film goes on floors

Less than a month after scoring a superhit with Yevadu, Ram Charan has joined the sets of his upcoming film in Krishna Vamsi's direction.Kajal is his co-star in this family entertainer and it also stars Srikanth and Kamalinee Mukherjee in important roles. It's the first time Ram Charan is collaborating with Krishna Vamsi and after acting in a string of mass entertainers, he's dabbling with a family entertainer this time.

Review : Paisa

Story: Prakash(Nani), a random drifter can't believe his luck when he accidentally gets his hands on Rs 50 crore. But soon enough all hell breaks loose as cops, goons and powerful politicians step into the scene.

Movie Review: Every other scene in the movie has a superimposed backdrop of the Charminar jutting out from the foreground, much the same way gaudy wall paintings would in cheap theatre productions. Well, most of the movie is set in the old city and perhaps the filmmaker was desperate to drive home the point to the audience. However, the presence of a surfeit of popular faces from Deccani cinema like RK, Akbar-bin-Tabar, Raju Srivastav lends some forced authenticity to the proceedings onscreen.

Technically there is plenty that's wrong with the movie that looks like it's been shot with the wrong camera. The production values are reminiscent of those you would find in an amateur home video. But then even the best of Krishna Vamsi's films didn't click for their technical finesse so to harp on them would be redundant.

His brand of cinema borders on the grotesque and the filmmaker sticks to his strengths and whips up a rather indulgently entertaining experience. The plot is simple. The protagonist Prakash is a good for nothing old city bum who hangs out with jobless friends dreaming about one chance to make it big. There is Noor who is madly in love with Prakash and a pampered daughter of a powerful politician Sweety who Prakash fancies.

Heartbroken on finding about Prakash's fondness for Sweety, Noor decides to get married to an aging Arab Sheikh to pay off a family debt. But Prakash gatecrashes the wedding along with the friends and in the ensuing melee escapes in a SUV he finds on the way. He can't believe his luck when he discovers huge plastic covers filled with cash stashed in the trunk. It turns out the money - Rs 50 crores - is actually election funds meant for a corrupt minister. From here on it becomes a free for all with cops, goons and the lot chasing the money.

Nani's performance as the loveable rogue is easily the biggest USP of the movie. He has the author backed role and he carries it off with panache. Catherine Tresa looks pretty convincing playing a burkha clad girl. The thumping background score sets the pace for the numerous twists and turns that follow.
